# Cryptocurrency asset management company Grayscale Investments has submitted an IPO application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

The American cryptocurrency asset management company Grayscale Investments has publicly submitted an initial public offering (IPO) application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

According to the documents submitted on Thursday, Grayscale recorded revenue of $320 million and a net profit of $200 million for the nine-month period ending September 30.

Grayscale founder Barry Silbert stated that asset tokenization will expand into areas such as private credit and real estate, comparing its potential to the early growth stage of cryptocurrencies
