# Samsung Electronics will increase chip production lines to meet rising demand

On November 16th, Jin10 Data reported that Samsung Electronics announced on Sunday that it will add a chip production line at its factory in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, to meet the growing demand brought about by the global artificial intelligence boom. The South Korean chip manufacturer stated that mass production will begin in 2028 and plans to increase infrastructure investment to support the expanded operational scale
