WANG ON GROUP (01222.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting to record a loss of no more than HKD 360 million for the six months ending in September, compared to a profit of HKD 85.8 million in the same period last year. The anticipated loss is mainly due to losses incurred from the sale of a 20% stake in a hotel joint venture; a decrease in share of joint venture profits; a reduction in gross profit from delivered completed residential projects; and realized losses from debt investments, partially offset by a decrease in financing costs
