# Highlights of the Airshow Focus on Future Aviation Development

This year's Dubai Airshow showcased multiple innovative achievements, with electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) becoming a major focus. This type of aircraft, positioned as "air taxis," is powered entirely by electricity and can take off and land vertically without the need for a runway, representing the future direction of urban air mobility. The airshow set up dedicated exhibition areas and held high-level meetings to discuss topics such as regulatory policies, infrastructure development, and the future of urban air mobility.

Sustainable development was also one of the core themes of this airshow.
