# Leading companies assess the future trends of the lithium battery industry: strengthen disruptive innovation and globalization

On the afternoon of November 20th, at the closing ceremony of the 15th High-Performance Lithium Battery Annual Conference 2025, the chairmen of leading lithium battery companies delivered relay speeches. The venue was packed, with even the aisles filled with enthusiastic audience members eager to learn about the leading companies' assessments of the situation. From the scene, entrepreneurs acknowledged the recovery of the lithium battery industry and the long-term certainty of market demand.  
"The industry situation has improved, and tonight's wine is sweet," said Shi Junfeng, chairman of LOPAL. "The demand, methodology, and globalization of the lithium battery industry are all certain," stated Zhao Weijun, president of Envision Energy China.  
Zeng Yuqun, chairman of CATL, and Xu Jinfeng, chairman of TINCI, noted that the industry still faces issues of "involution." Overall, strengthening disruptive innovation, forming a healthier industry ecosystem, and continuing to move towards globalization have become key to maintaining the competitiveness of China's lithium battery industry.
