# NIO's Li Bin aims for ES8 deliveries to exceed 15,000 units in December

According to domestic media reports, Nio (09866.HK) founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin stated today (21st) at the Guangzhou Auto Show that the company's SUV electric vehicle ES8 has delivered 10,000 units in just 41 days, setting a global delivery record for large pure electric SUVs.

He revealed that in December, they aim to achieve a delivery volume of over 15,000 units for the ES8. He pointed out that the motivation for increased deliveries now is due to next year's purchase tax subsidies, where each unit can receive an additional subsidy of over 10,000 RMB next year. Therefore, delivering more units this year is also very important for Nio's profitability in the fourth quarter
