# Chinese autonomous driving company Momenta submits IPO application in Hong Kong

Two informed sources revealed that the Chinese autonomous driving technology research and development company Momenta has secretly submitted an initial public offering (IPO) application in Hong Kong. The sources indicated that, amid escalating tensions between the United States and China, Momenta has abandoned its plans to list in New York and is now joining an increasing number of Chinese companies planning to be listed in this Asian financial hub.
