# Big short Burry is shorting Tesla again? The last time he did this, Tesla's stock price doubled

On December 2nd, Tuesday, Michael Burry, the investor known for successfully predicting the 2008 financial crisis and the prototype of the movie "The Big Short," shorted Tesla stock again, stating that its "valuation is absurdly high," and warned that the compensation plan proposed by Musk would further dilute shareholder equity.

However, after he first shorted Tesla on August 16, 2021, Tesla's stock price doubled.
