# The semiconductor ETF fell over 4.5%, leading the decline among U.S. stock sector ETFs

On Friday (December 12), the Semiconductor ETF fell by 4.53%, the Global Technology Stock Index ETF dropped by 2.92%, the Technology Sector ETF decreased by 2.89%, the Internet Stock Index ETF declined by 1.36%, the Energy Sector ETF fell by 0.91%, while the Consumer Discretionary ETF rose by 0.43%, and the Consumer Staples ETF increased by 0.79%. This week, the Banking Sector ETF accumulated a rise of 3.58%, achieving its fourth consecutive week of gains driven by interest rate trends during the "week of the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut"; the Semiconductor Index has cumulatively fallen by 2.83%
