Yinson Renewables said in a statement on Thursday that construction activities are expected to commence in early 2026 and the project is expected to enter operations in 2028. Mt Cass is designed for a total installed capacity of 94.6 MW, and once operational is expected to generate over 300 GWh of electricity annually – enough to supply approximately 40,000 households. Mt Cass will be Yinson Renewables’ first wind farm in its portfolio under construction and its first in New Zealand. The wind farm has important strategic value, adding much-needed generation capacity to the upper South Island and helping New Zealand meet its decarbonization goals. “The Mt Cass Wind Farm represents a significant expansion of our footprint in New Zealand, “We are privileged to be the first global independent power producer to own and construct a wind farm in the country – an important step for Yinson Renewables both strategically and in our mission to deliver sustainable solutions that support New Zealand’s energy transition,” Yinson Renewables Chief Executive Officer David Brunt said. Yinson Renewables Country Manager for New Zealand, Trevor Nash, also commented the Mt Cass wind project is a cornerstone of the firm’s strategy in New Zealand. “We look forward to working with all of the key stakeholders on this project to bring more clean energy projects online and contribute to our nation’s decarbonization goals,” he added. > CelcomDigi and Yinson seal partnership to elevate Malaysia’s eMobility ecosystem ## 相關資訊與研究 - [Cass Information Systems Announces New Bank Leadership Team](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281042026.md) - [Cass Information Systems names Eric T.
