# Online exams suspected of using AI, South Korean universities exposed in collective cheating scandal

Following the recent scandal at Yonsei University in South Korea where students collectively cheated in an online midterm exam using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, another top university, Seoul National University, has also reported a collective cheating incident during an online final exam. On the 21st, Seoul National University announced that the exam results for the relevant course have been invalidated. It is understood that the cheating incident involved a general education course offered by the College of Natural Sciences at Seoul National University, which was conducted and examined remotely.
