# Hong Kong Stock Market Mid-Review: Hang Seng Index rises 1.78%, Hang Seng TECH Index rises 2.21%

According to Jinshi Data on January 6th, as of the noon closing, the Hang Seng Index rose by 1.78%, and the Hang Seng TECH Index rose by 2.21%. On the market, Chinese brokerage stocks, non-ferrous metal stocks, gold stocks, insurance stocks, and domestic property stocks led the gains, while brain-computer interface, consumer electronics, wind power stocks, commercial aerospace, and military industry sectors saw the largest declines. SenseTime (00020.HK) and Cathay Securities (02611.HK) rose over 7%, while Zhongzhou Securities (01375.HK), Guolian Minsheng (01456.HK), and CICC (03908.HK) rose over 6%. China Daye Nonferrous Metals (00661.HK) rose over 10%, Chalco International (02068.HK) rose over 8%, and Zhaojin Mining (01818.HK) rose over 7%.
