# Brazil homebuilder Tenda targets higher foreign investor ownership in 2026

SAO PAULO, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Brazilian homebuilder Tenda (TEND3.SA) aims to increase its foreign investor ownership to more than 50% by the end of 2026, from the current 20%, Chief Financial Officer Luiz Mauricio Garcia told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday.

-   The company heavily targeted international investor relations in the second half of 2025, participating in conferences and roadshows in New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
-   “We must make the company better known,” Garcia said.
-   The executive noted the company has now exceeded a market cap threshold that previously excluded it from many foreign investors’ portfolios.
-   He said that some peers have foreign ownership as high as 70%.
-   Tenda has a market capitalization of 3.2 billion reais ($594.96 million), according to LSEG data.
-   It expects 2026 net profit between 520 million reais and 600 million reais.
-   The company reported 46.6% year-on-year net profit growth in the third quarter of 2025.
