# ByteDance’s next-gen AI earphones to be made by Goertek

ByteDance is developing a next-generation version of its Doubao AI-powered earphones, with Chinese manufacturer Goertek set to handle contract manufacturing, according to supply chain sources cited by Blue Whale Tech. The sources said Goertek has established a dedicated business group to oversee its cooperation with ByteDance, reflecting the strategic importance the supplier places on the partnership. Goertek declined to comment on specific customers or products, citing confidentiality agreements. “We have signed non-disclosure agreements with our clients and cannot disclose customer names or related product information,” a company representative said.
