# HIBOR trend | 1-month interbank offered rate stops rising and falls, reported at 2.84095 cents

According to the information from the Hong Kong Association of Banks website, the one-month Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (HIBOR) related to mortgage loans reported 2.84095 cents on January 16, down 0.76 basis points from the previous trading day.

## Short-term interbank rates generally decline

In terms of short-term interbank rates, the overnight rate fell by 24.02 basis points to 1.90429 cents; the one-week rate also dropped by 12.51 basis points to 2.39571 cents; the two-week rate slightly increased by 0.53 basis points, reporting 2.56262 cents.

## Medium to long-term rates fell across the board

Regarding medium to long-term rates, the two-month interbank rate fell by 4.64 basis points, reporting 2.85357 cents; the three-month interbank rate fell by 4.18 basis points, reporting 2.86244 cents; the six-month interbank rate fell by 0.92 basis points, reporting 2.98458 cents; the one-year interbank rate fell by 0.68 basis points, reporting 3.00780 cents.
