# Weisheng Distribution Company Octopus secures local exclusive distribution rights for Tsingtao Brewery | Lianhe Zaobao

GS Holdings' wholly-owned subsidiary Octopus Distribution Networks (referred to as ODN) has obtained a two-year exclusive distribution right to sell Tsingtao Brewery products in local chain supermarkets and other retail channels.

On Monday (January 19), GS Holdings announced after the market closed that ODN has signed a distribution agreement with Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd., acquiring the rights to import, promote, sell, resell, and distribute seven stock-keeping units of Tsingtao beer and draft beer in Singapore.

According to the agreement, ODN will exclusively distribute Tsingtao Brewery products through non-immediate consumption channels, such as supermarkets, convenience stores, and gas stations, over the next two years.

GS Holdings stated in a press release that ODN has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Tsingtao beer and draft beer, fully demonstrating the company's outstanding capabilities in importing, marketing, and distributing large volumes of best-selling internationally renowned brand products.

In addition to Tsingtao beer, ODN distributes other beer brands including Carlsberg, San Miguel, Germany's Paulaner, local Lion Brewery beer, and craft beer Trouble Brewing.

The company stated that the addition of Tsingtao beer enriches ODN's product portfolio, enabling the company to better target its customer base and offer a diverse range of products that integrate Eastern, Western, and local beer brands to meet market demand.

GS Holdings' stock price rose 7.27% on Monday, closing at 0.059 SGD
