# Numeraire (NMR) - NumerCon 2026 - 30 January 2026

NumerCon 2026 is Numerai’s flagship data science conference where the team is timing a major update to its crowdsourced hedge fund platform UX. According to Numerai’s announcement on X, the rollout includes simpler onboarding, Kaggle account integration, a focused metrics dashboard, an improved news feed, and better organization. Mechanically, smoother participation and analytics can attract more data scientists, potentially increasing the number and size of staking accounts using NMR to back models. If engagement and tournament economics improve, this can translate into higher protocol usage and incremental demand for NMR around and after the event date.
