# Industry Weekly Report: US API crude oil inventories sharply decreased by over 11 million barrels last week

According to data from the American Petroleum Institute (API), last week, **U.S. API crude oil inventory -11.079 million barrels**, the previous week +247,000 barrels.

Last week, API Cushing crude oil inventory -1.394 million barrels, previous value +-92,000 barrels.

Last week, API refined oil gasoline inventory +4.736 million barrels (previous value -415,000 barrels), distillate inventory -4.811 million barrels (previous value +2 million barrels)
