# The People?s Insurance Company of China Limited Announces Appointment of Ms. Yeung Cheung Ying as Independent Non-Executive Director and Committee Member, Effective February 2, 2026

The People?s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited announced that Ms. Yeung Cheung Ying has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company, effective from February 2, 2026, following approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration. The appointment of Ms. Yeung as an independent non-executive Director of the Company was approved by the Shareholders at the 2025 first extraordinary general meeting convened on April 29, 2025. The Company recently received the approval of the qualification of Ms. Yeung as an independent non-executive Director of the Company from the National Financial Regulatory Administration (Jin Fu \[2026\] No.

64). The appointment of Ms. Yeung as a member of the Strategy and Investment/Sustainable Development Committee, the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Related Party Transactions Control Committee of the Board of the Company also took effect on the same day. The term of office of Ms. Yeung as a Director shall expire upon the expiry of the term of the fifth session of the Board of the Company, and she is eligible for re-election upon the expiry of the term of office.
