# General Administration of Sport: From November 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the total number of visitors to ski resorts nationwide reached 118 million

Ai Yu, the head of the Sports Economic Department of the General Administration of Sport, stated at a regular press briefing by the State Council that monitoring data shows that from November 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the total number of visitors to ski resorts nationwide will reach 118 million, including 1.255 million inbound visitors, a year-on-year increase of 89.2%; the total consumption around ski resorts will amount to 69.15 billion yuan, with the number of transactions reaching 890 million, a year-on-year increase of 6%. Currently, places such as Yanqing in Beijing, Chongli in Hebei, Jilin City in Jilin Province, Yabuli in Harbin, Heilongjiang, and Altay in Xinjiang are actively promoting the construction of high-quality outdoor sports destinations themed around ice and snow, providing better and higher-quality services to consumers by enhancing hardware facilities and improving the consumption experience.
