# The Immigration Department estimates that approximately 1.43 million mainland travelers will visit Hong Kong during the Spring Festival Golden Week, with about 2,200 tour groups

The Immigration Department expects that during the nine-day Mainland Spring Festival Golden Week, approximately 1.43 million Mainland travelers will enter Hong Kong, with an average daily visitor increase of about 6% compared to last year's Mainland Spring Festival Golden Week.

According to estimates from the Tourism Board and the industry, around 2,200 tour groups are expected to enter Hong Kong during the Mainland Spring Festival Golden Week, with a significant increase in the average daily number of inbound tour groups compared to last year's Mainland Labor Day and National Day Golden Weeks. Major tourist attractions have developed special plans to cope with the anticipated increase in foot traffic
