# US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis bids unchanged in quiet trading

CHICAGO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Basis bids for hard red winter wheat were flat in the U.S. Plains on Monday amid quiet trading and improving weather.

-   Rain delivered much-needed moisture to parts of the U.S. Plains.
-   Market players are awaiting the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s world supply and demand report on Tuesday.
-   K.C. March HRW wheat futures (KWH26) settled 2-1⁄2 cents lower to end at $5.28-3⁄4 per bushel.
