# US Cash Grains-Corn, soy bids mixed in quiet trade

CHICAGO, Feb 12 (Reuters) - Basis bids for corn and soybeans were mixed in the U.S. Midwest on Thursday in quiet trade.

-   The soybean basis ticked lower at an Ohio elevator and higher at an Illinois river terminal.
-   The corn basis was lower at a river terminal and higher at two ethanol plants.
-   Chicago soybean futures climbed to a two-month high on Thursday, supported by hopes of further Chinese demand for U.S. supplies and concern that rain in Brazil will disrupt the rival exporter’s harvest.
-   Most-active soybeans (Sv1) were last up 11-1⁄4 cents to $11.35-1⁄4 per bushel, and most-active corn (Cv1) was last up 1-3⁄4 cents to $4.29-1⁄4 per bushel as of midday.
