# Stark Defense is valued at over 1 billion euros in the new round of financing

Germany's Manager Magazin reported on Friday that the German startup and drone manufacturer **Stark Defense** completed a new round of financing a few weeks ago, with the company's overall valuation rising to **over 1 billion euros** (approximately 1.2 billion dollars).

The magazine did not disclose its sources, stating that the Founders Fund, owned by Peter Thiel, invested **tens of millions of euros**, and several European investment institutions also participated in this round of financing.

Stark Defense has not immediately responded to requests for comment from reporters. Manager Magazin stated that the company declined to comment on this matter.

Documents seen by Reuters on Tuesday show that the German government plans to procure **536 million euros** worth of attack drones from Stark Defense and another German defense company, Helsing
