# The "Implementation Rules for the Supervision and Administration of the Use of Medical Security Fund" have been announced and will take effect on April 1

The "Implementation Rules for the Supervision and Administration of the Use of Medical Security Fund" have been reviewed and approved by the State Medical Security Administration's executive meeting on February 12, 2026, and are now published, coming into effect on April 1, 2026. It is stated that medical security handling agencies shall, at the request of the medical security administrative department, suspend the settlement of medical security funds and the disbursement of expenses for designated medical institutions suspected of defrauding medical security fund expenditures and refusing to cooperate with investigations, until the designated medical institutions cooperate with the investigation
