# After the inflation data was released, U.S. interest rate futures raised the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates in June

A report shows that after the U.S. inflation rate in January rose less than expected, U.S. interest rate futures slightly adjusted the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates in June.

After the data was released, the futures market also indicated that the Federal Reserve is expected to cut rates by 61 basis points over the year, up from 58 basis points before the data was released
