# Industrials Up on Muted Inflation Data - Industrials Roundup

Shares of industrial and transportation companies rose after muted inflation data.

Economists at brokerage Bank of America said falling rents could offset likely increases in other categories of inflation later this year.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to spend $38.3 billion on new detention facilities to meet the agency's growing demand for bedspace and to streamline the removal process for people living in the country illegally.

Shares of private prison operators CoreCivic and Geo Group rose sharply.
