# Zora launched its attention marketplace on Solana and is recruiting "attention economists."

Solana announced on the X platform that its decentralized SocialFi platform, Zora, has launched Attention Markets on the Solana blockchain. Traders can trade trending terms, topics, hashtags, and trends, create "Trends" before a trend explodes, and track profits and losses in real time. Zora co-founder Jacob Horne stated that currently, publishing a Trend requires 1 SOL to suppress spam. Trends themselves do not offer creator rewards, but "Pairs" can be created under Trends to receive creator incentives. In addition, Zora has also posted a job advertisement seeking an "Attention Economist," a position responsible for tracking trending topics on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X.
