# NVIDIA is close to reaching a $30 billion investment agreement with OpenAI, replacing the $100 billion deal announced last year

According to informed sources, NVIDIA is close to finalizing a $30 billion investment agreement with OpenAI, which will replace the $100 billion long-term investment agreement the company reached last year. This deal will be part of OpenAI's new round of financing, with a final agreement potentially reached as soon as this weekend.

OpenAI is planning to raise up to $100 billion in its latest round of financing, with the company's valuation reaching approximately $830 billion.

Sources say that OpenAI will reinvest most of the newly acquired funds into NVIDIA's hardware products, but the company will not continue to pursue the $100 billion multi-year investment cooperation plan announced with NVIDIA last September
