When the new Cybertruck variant launched just last week at $59,990, new U.S. orders were showing an estimated delivery of June 2026. Within days of launch, that quickly moved to September–October 2026. Now, hours shy of one week after it first appeared, the configurator is displaying April 2027 for new orders – a 10-month swing in a matter of days. ### The Rapid Rise of the $59K Cybertruck Tesla launched the $59K Cybertruck on February 19, and after a positive reaction from fans on the social media platform X, Elon Musk announced the $59,990 price would only be available for a limited window and that future pricing would “depend on how much demand we see at this price level.” Shortly after that, Tesla confirmed the price would increase after February 28, without specifying by exactly how much. Then delivery windows started slipping, first by a few months, a now more than a year into the future. At the same time, Tesla removed the $59K AWD trim from the referral program, eliminating the $1,000 discount for new buyers — while keeping referral eligibility for the Premium AWD and Cyberbeast. Now, with April 2027 delivery estimates showing on the online configurator, demand appears to be significantly outpacing production capacity. ### Demand Is High — But Production Is Low A delivery window stretching into spring 2027 indicates Tesla’s order bank for the $59K AWD trim is filling rapidly. Even without a broad marketing campaign — and despite the referral discount being removed — buyers are continuing to place orders, perhaps driven in part by the threat of a price increase. This all but proves true what we’ve been saying – Tesla finally hit the feature-set and pricing sweet spot for Cybertruck, which struggled to gain traction as sales fell roughly 50% in 2025 to just over 20,000 units, down from about 39,000 in 2024. However, this high level of demand also highlights that Tesla is currently production constrained with this trim, which for Canadians, isn’t encouraging. Unless the automaker is able to substantially increase Cybertruck production, backlog growth will continue with timelines falling deeper into 2027, so priority will almost certainly remain with the U.S. market. If that’s the case, Canadians could be in for a long wait before we see a more reasonably priced Cybertruck. This is of course also ignoring the current tariff situation, which has no signs of ending soon and has inflated Cybertruck prices to astronomical levels – the cheapest trim available north of the border is C$139,990. ### 相關股票 - [Tesla (TSLA.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLA.US.md) - [GraniteShares 1.25 Long TSLA Daily ETF (TSL.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSL.US.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Short TSLA Daily ETF (TSDD.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSDD.US.md) - [T-Rex 2X Long Tesla Daily Target ETF (TSLT.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLT.US.md) - [Leverage Shares 2X Long TSLA Daily ETF (TSLG.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLG.US.md) - [Direxion Daily TSLA Bear 1X Shares (TSLS.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLS.US.md) - [Simplify Volt TSLA Revolution ETF (TESL.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TESL.US.md) - [AXS TSLA Bear Daily ETF (TSLQ.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLQ.US.md) - [T-Rex 2X Inverse Tesla Daily Target ETF (TSLZ.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLZ.US.md) - [Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares (TSLL.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLL.US.md) - [GraniteShares 2x Long TSLA Daily ETF (TSLR.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/TSLR.US.md) - [XI2CSOPTSLA-U (09366.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/09366.HK.md) - [XL2CSOPTSLA (07766.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/07766.HK.md) - [XI2CSOPTSLA (07366.HK)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/07366.HK.md) ## 相關資訊與研究 - [Tesla’s sales recover slightly, but the trend lines are all bad](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281541012.md) - [Tesla First Quarter 2026 Production, Deliveries & Deployments | TSLA Stock News](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/281529738.md) - [Wealthcare Advisory Partners LLC Increases Stake in Tesla, Inc. $TSLA](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/280907578.md) - [Tesla first-quarter deliveries are coming.
