# Analysts say that Netflix's abandonment of the proposal to acquire Warner Bros. may bring huge benefits to the streaming giant

Analysts believe that Netflix's decision to abandon its previous acquisition proposal to explore Warner Bros. has eliminated a major pending bearish factor for the stock, allowing investors to refocus on the company's core growth story.

On Thursday, Netflix refused to raise its offer for the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery's film and streaming assets to match Paramount's revised bid. Paramount raised its offer earlier this week, proposing an all-cash deal to acquire Warner Bros.' assets at a price of $31 per share, up from the previous offer of $30 per share
