From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) and semiconductor company Sequans Communications ( SQNS ) , which rose 5.7% and 5.3% respectively. They were followed by lenders Banco Santander (SAN) and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria ( BBVA ) , which advanced 5% and 4.7% respectively. The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm Evaxion ( EVAX ) and brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev ( BUD ) , which fell 2.2% and 1.4% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Sanofi ( SNY ) and consumer goods company Unilever ( UL ) , which were down 0.8% and 0.6% respectively. From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by software firm Endava ( DAVA ) and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) , which increased 8.3% and 7.2% respectively.
