# Zurich Chief Earns Significantly Higher Pay

Zurich CEO **Mario Greco** received total compensation of 10,39 million francs last year. This is shown in the annual report published on Thursday by the Swiss insurance group.

His pay therefore increased by around 5,2 percent compared with the previous year, when the total amounted to 9,88 million francs.

The fixed base salary rose to 1,87 million francs from 1,78 million francs previously. Including pension entitlements and other compensation, however, the amount declined slightly to 2,32 million francs from 2,34 million francs.

**Total Compensation for Group Management Also Increased**

Variable compensation consists of short-term incentives (3,80 million francs) and long-term incentives (4,27 million francs). In the previous year, these amounts stood at 3,55 million francs and 3,99 million francs respectively.

Total compensation for all members of the group executive committee increased to 57,67 million francs in 2025, up from 55,41 million francs in the previous year.

Greco can expect a higher amount from the long-term incentive components in 2026. The LTIP target percentage for the Group CEO will increase from 225 percent to 250 percent from this year, according to the outlook. The base salary and the annual STIP target percentage remain unchanged.

At the end of the year, the CEO held 114’080 Zurich shares, compared with 111’436 at the end of 2024.
