# "Performance" FORTUNE REIT distributes 16.81 cents at the end of the period

FORTUNE REIT (00778.HK) announced its full-year results for the year ended last December, with distributable income of HKD 723 million, a year-on-year decrease of 0.07%; the final distribution per unit is HKD 0.1681. The total distribution per unit for the year is HKD 0.3522, a year-on-year decrease of 1%.

During the period, revenue was HKD 1.682 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.66%, mainly due to negative growth in rental increases from supermarkets and real estate agencies. The net property income was HKD 1.188 billion, a decrease of 5.2%.

Ms. Zhao Yu, the CEO of the manager, stated that the retail industry in Hong Kong is undergoing a structural transformation, but the macro environment is becoming more stable, and operating conditions have become more favorable. The decline in interest rates, population growth, recovery of the tourism industry, and renewed activity in the stock and property markets are all driving a positive market landscape and boosting local consumption.
