# IATF: BYD joins as a new member

The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) stated that BYD (01211.HK) has joined the organization as a new member. The announcement mentioned that BYD, while obtaining IATF 16949 certification, also requires its suppliers to pass IATF 16949 certification, further demonstrating its high recognition and long-term commitment to the IATF quality management system standards, process consistency, and principles of continuous improvement
