# Electronic payment for taxis in Hong Kong is about to be fully implemented

The Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government issued a reminder on the 15th that starting from April 1, taxi drivers must provide electronic payment methods to facilitate passengers in paying fares.
