# GrabInsure rolls out insurance for SG private-hire vehicle drivers

**It offers coverage for booking cancellations and vomits.**

GrabInsure has introduced a motor insurance product aimed at private-hire vehicle (PHV) drivers in Singapore.

It leverages historical insights from the Grab platform to deliver personalised pricing based on a driver-partner’s track record whilst providing greater payment flexibility and round-the-clock emergency assistance, Grab said in a press release on 19 March 2026.

Drivers can pay their insurance premiums directly through their Grab Driver App’s wallet.

GrabInsure also offers flexible installment plans, with drivers able to convert premiums into micro-payments.

GrabInsure leverages safety records of active partners to offer what it promises are competitive premium rates.

Amongst possible compensations that PHV drivers can get include financial support during family tragedies, compensation for time and fuel lost due to late passenger cancellations and no-shows, and vomit cover.
