# U.S. Senator Warren requests Walsh to respond regarding the inquiry mentioned in the Epstein files

U.S. Senate Democrat Elizabeth Warren sent a letter to Trump's Federal Reserve nominee Kevin Warsh: "Your name seems to appear in the Epstein documents." Warren requested that Warsh respond and explain regarding the Epstein documents by March 31.

Warren highlighted two email exchanges, suggesting that Warsh may have been invited to events seemingly organized by Epstein. Warren referenced news reports in her letter, noting that one event took place in December 2010 on the Caribbean island of St. Barts, while another occurred in September 2010 in New York.

The documents do not indicate whether Warsh actually attended any of the aforementioned events, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

In her letter on Thursday, Warren urged Warsh to clarify whether he traveled to St. Barts during the events and requested that he disclose whether he attended any of the aforementioned events or had any contact with Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Additionally, Warren inquired whether Trump or any of his family members also attended the New York event. According to the news reports she cited, the guest list for the event included Trump and his wife Melania, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, as well as Donald Trump Jr. and his then-wife Vanessa.

Warren is a member of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is responsible for reviewing Federal Reserve nominees. The committee has not yet scheduled a confirmation hearing for Warsh. She requested that Warsh respond by March 31
