According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on March 19, Bezos is currently in the early negotiation stages of raising a new $100 billion fund aimed at acquiring manufacturing companies and using artificial intelligence technology to speed up the automation processes of these enterprises. Recent developments indicate that Bezos has been frequently meeting with executives from large global asset management firms. Months ago, he traveled to the Middle East to discuss the concept of this new fund with representatives from sovereign wealth funds in the region, and recently he went to Singapore to raise funds for the project. In investor documents, the fund is defined as a "tool for manufacturing transformation," primarily targeting acquisitions in core industrial sectors such as chip manufacturing, defense, and aerospace. This fund, which could reach up to $100 billion, will not only surpass the scale of many large global merger funds but will also be substantial enough to compete with SoftBank Group's $100 billion Vision Fund focused on technology. As the core technological support for this grand plan, Bezos has recently been appointed as the co-CEO of the startup Project Prometheus. He plans to directly apply the company's AI technology to the enterprises acquired by the fund to significantly enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of these industrial assets. ## Bezos's Physical AI Vision and Financing The core competitiveness of Project Prometheus lies in building artificial intelligence models that can understand and simulate the laws of the physical world. Investor documents show that the company's technology can simulate how air flows around wings or accurately predict where metal components will crack under pressure. The company plans to initially focus on selling software tools for engineering simulation and design. To support this technological development, Project Prometheus is currently negotiating for up to $6 billion in separate financing. The company successfully raised $6.2 billion last year. In terms of management, Bezos is co-CEO alongside Vik Bajaj, a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and co-founder of the former Google Life Sciences division (now Verily). Additionally, David Limp, CEO of the rocket company Blue Origin, has recently joined the company's board. ## Wall Street Capital and Silicon Valley Giants Collaborating Bezos's move has not only attracted the attention of sovereign funds but has also sparked significant interest from top investment banks on Wall Street. According to insiders, JP Morgan is in preliminary negotiations to support the project through its newly established "Security and Resiliency Initiative." JP Morgan launched a $10 billion fund for this initiative last December and has enlisted former Berkshire Hathaway investment manager Todd Combs to help lead the project In Silicon Valley, Bezos is the latest senior tech leader to join the new round of AI competition. Previously, former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick announced the expansion plans of his startup Atoms, aimed at transforming the manufacturing industry with AI; Elon Musk has also been pushing for Tesla's transformation and vigorously promoting its humanoid robot program to investors. With the influx of tech giants and massive capital, the AI-driven automation wave is spreading from e-commerce warehousing and logistics to deeper industrial manufacturing sectors ### 相關股票 - [GTJA Allianz SSE STAR Chip Design Thematic ETF (588780.CN)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/588780.CN.md) - [China Southern CSI Semiconductor Industry Custom ETF (159325.CN)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/159325.CN.md) - [iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/SOXX.US.md) - [GTJA Allianz CSI All Share Semiconductors & Semiconductor Equipment ETF (512480.CN)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/512480.CN.md) - [Invesco Semiconductors ETF (PSI.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/PSI.US.md) - [SPDR S&P Semicon (XSD.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/XSD.US.md) - [Guotai CES Semiconductor Chip Industry ETF (512760.CN)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/512760.CN.md) - [Direxion Semicon Bull 3X (SOXL.US)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/SOXL.US.md) - [ChinaAMC Guozheng Semiconductor Chip ETF (159995.CN)](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/quote/159995.CN.md) ## 相關資訊與研究 - [China appreciates 'positive signals' shown by new Dutch government, foreign minister says](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279066363.md) - [08:39 ETABnet Expands Infrastructure Powerhouse to Meet Exponential Demand for AI Workloads](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/278886172.md) - [Precision strike: China targets US, Japan stranglehold on photoresist supply](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279188430.md) - [EPC unveils Phase 18 Reliability Report advancing understanding of eGaN reliability and robustness](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279832830.md) - [Intel, Versa Expand Collaboration for Edge AI Capabilities](https://longbridge.com/zh-HK/news/279818156.md)
