Sun Yuhan: Hong Kong is the best stage for career development The Global Talent Summit Week organized by the Hong Kong Talent Service Office, featuring two major events: the International Talent Forum and the Opportunity Exchange Talent Expo, was held for two consecutive days starting Wednesday (18th) and successfully concluded yesterday (19th). Nine satellite events held concurrently will continue until March 29. The Secretary for Administration, Chan Kwok-kee, pointed out that talent is the core of developing new productive forces. As the international gateway and super connector of the country, Hong Kong plays an important role in gathering global wisdom and driving innovative development. The government will actively align with the strategic deployment of building a talent hub as outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan, fully leveraging Hong Kong's unique advantages under "One Country, Two Systems" to establish a more internationally competitive talent introduction and cultivation system, attracting top global talents to contribute to the country's strength and create a new situation for Hong Kong's high-quality development. Yesterday afternoon, at the exchange meeting on building a high-level talent hub hosted by the Talent Office, Chan Kwok-kee and Yu Jiadong, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, delivered speeches, while Sun Yuhan gave a concluding address. The meeting invited about 100 representatives from government units responsible for talent work in mainland China and the Macao Special Administrative Region, as well as representatives from top universities in the mainland, to gather experiences in attracting, retaining, nurturing, and utilizing talents, discussing talent recruitment and cultivation policies under the 14th Five-Year Plan.
