# Travel Stocks Rise, Energy Stocks Fall in US After-Hours Trading Following Iran Ceasefire Report

Travel stocks moved higher in after-hours trading, while energy producers and chemical companies declined, following reports by Israel's Channel 12 that the U.S. is seeking a one-month ceasefire agreement with Iran to hold truce talks. An exchange-traded fund (ETF) tracking the S&P 500 rose as much as 1.1% in after-hours trading.

Airline stocks were broadly higher in after-hours trading, with Jetblue Airways up 1.2%, United Airlines up 1.1%, American Airlines up 1.5%, and Delta Air Lines up 1.3%.

Cruise line stocks Carnival, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise also rose.

Unchanged, Nutrien was unchanged, Occidental Petroleum fell 1.3%, Diamondback Energy fell 0.9%, and Exxon Mobil fell 0.8%.
