# ITE and BDx sign Singapore AI data centre training pact

**MoU targets the job pipeline across all three colleges.**

The Institute of Technical Education and BDx Data Centers signed a memorandum of understanding to build a talent pipeline for Singapore’s digital infrastructure sector, with a focus on preparing students for AI and data centre roles.

The agreement covers all three ITE colleges and will provide students with hands-on training at BDx’s AI-ready SIN1 facility, which also hosts a quantum computing testbed.

The partners said the initiative supports Singapore’s Green Data Centre Roadmap and Smart Nation goals by addressing demand for workers who can operate infrastructure underpinning AI, financial systems, and other essential services.

BDx Chief Executive Officer Mayank Srivastava said the partnership would help build a pipeline of local talent to support mission-critical operations across AI and digital infrastructure, whilst ITE Chief Executive Officer Peter Lam said the collaboration would embed real-world data centre operating scenarios into teaching modules so students graduate with job-ready skills.
