# WeChat Video Platform Sets Guidelines for Financial Content

WeChat's video platform has released a new set of guidelines for financial content creators, emphasizing the importance of neutrality, professionalism, and verifiable information. According to Jin10, the platform explicitly prohibits eight types of content, including public stock recommendations, promises of returns, malicious disparagement, illegal services, forged endorsements, homogeneous address content, high-risk projects like NFTs, and video traffic diversion. Violations of these guidelines will result in actions based on the severity of the infraction, such as limiting video reach, deleting videos, revoking account verification, or banning accounts.
