The People's Bank of China today (26th) conducted a 7-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market amounting to 224 billion RMB (the same below), with the operation rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 13 billion RMB of reverse repos are maturing, resulting in a net injection of 211 billion RMB for the day. The three major A-share indices fluctuated lower in the morning session. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,909 points, down 22 points or 0.6%, with a turnover of 530.6 billion RMB; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 13,748 points, down 52 points or 0.4%, with a turnover of 694.3 billion RMB; the ChiNext Index closed at 3,314 points, down 2 points or 0.07%, with a turnover of 312.25 billion RMB. In the banking sector, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH) remained stable with a slight increase of 0.1%. China Construction Bank (601939.SH) fell by 0.3%. China Life (601628.SH) dropped by 5.2%, with its net profit for 2025 expected to grow by 44.1% year-on-year, proposing a dividend of 6.18 RMB per share, and additionally planning to invest 2.8 billion RMB in the Xinrui Science and Technology Innovation Relay Fund. Furthermore, CATL (300750.SZ) opened lower but rose by 2.2%. BYD (002594.SZ) fell by 1.4%. Solid-state battery concept stocks surged, with Hi-Tech Spring (301292.SZ) and Zhongrui Co., Ltd. (301587.SZ) rising by 14.6% and 11.4%, respectively. Rongjie Co., Ltd. (002192.SZ) and Shida Shenghua (603026.SH) both hit the daily limit. Chip stocks were weak, with SMIC (688981.SH) and Hua Hong (688347.SH) A shares falling by 1.6% and 3.2%, respectively. AI chip stock Cambricon (688256.SH) dropped by 0.8%. Domestic GPU stocks Muxi Co., Ltd. (688802.SH) and Moore Threads (688795.SH) fell by 1.2% and 0.4%, respectively.
