# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index fell by 347 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index dropped by 105 points. Alibaba fell over 3%, Ping An fell over 3%, Meituan fell over 3%. Bank of China, WELLCELL HOLD, and Everbright Environment hit new highs

The Hang Seng Index closed at 24,988 points, down 347 points or 1.4%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 4,817 points, down 105 points or 2.1%. The China Enterprises Index fell 130 points or 1.5%, closing at 8,452 points.

Performance of active heavyweights:

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 124.1, down 3.7%;

Ping An (02318.HK) closed at HKD 58.4, down 3.4%;

Meituan (03690.HK) closed at HKD 87.25, down 3.1%;

Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) closed at HKD 33.02, up 1.5%;

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 501, down 0.9%;
