# Cadence Bank Settles for $5.25 Million Over Data Breach

Cadence Bank has reached a $5.25 million settlement following a data breach linked to MOVEit, which compromised the personal information of approximately 869,411 individuals. According to NS3.AI, affected customers are eligible to claim up to $2,500 for documented ordinary losses, up to $10,000 for extraordinary losses, or $100 without documentation. The deadline for submitting claims is June 4, 2026. Additionally, Cadence Bank has pledged at least $3.5 million towards enhancing its data security measures.
