# NVIDIA's stock price rose after French AI startup Mistral AI raised $830 million to build a large-scale GPU data center

After an artificial intelligence startup announced plans to build a data center equipped with processors from the chip manufacturer, NVIDIA's stock price rose slightly.

French artificial intelligence company Mistral AI stated that it has raised $830 million through its first round of debt financing, provided by a banking consortium. The funds will be used to construct a data center near Paris, which is expected to deploy approximately 13,800 NVIDIA GB300 graphics processors.

Although NVIDIA does not disclose the pricing of individual chips, analysts estimate that a rack containing 72 such GPUs sells for about $3 million. Based on this figure, the new facility could involve approximately $575 million worth of NVIDIA hardware
