# During the Qingming Festival holiday, the average daily entry and exit personnel at national ports in mainland China is expected to exceed 2.3 million

The National Immigration Administration predicts that the average daily number of inbound and outbound travelers at national ports during the holiday period will exceed 2.3 million, an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year.

Authorities stated that the Qingming Festival is a traditional holiday for returning home to pay respects to ancestors and is also a peak season for spring outings.
