# Meta Faces Patent Lawsuit Over Quest VR "Direct Touch" Feature

A federal lawsuit in the United States alleges that Meta Platforms Inc.'s Quest VR headset feature, which allows users to interact with technology using gestures, infringes on two patents. CurioXR Inc. stated in a complaint filed on Thursday with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas that the "direct touch" feature in the virtual reality headset infringes U.S. Patent Nos. 11,531,448 and 11,656,742.
