The price of silver rose by ₹100, with one kilogram of the precious metal selling at ₹2,90,100. The price of 22-carat gold fell by ₹10, with ten grams of the yellow metal selling at ₹1,43,190. The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,56,210 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad and ₹1,60,900 in Chennai. In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,56,360. In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold was ₹1,43,190, the same as in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and ₹1,47,490 in Chennai. Spot gold was steady at $4,565.40 per ounce, as of 0103 GMT, after hitting its lowest level since March 30 in the previous session. US gold futures for June delivery gained 0.2 per cent to $4,567.90.
